Baby Massage

  • Classes are held every Wednesday in our beautiful studio at 11:30 am

Baby massage is a wonderful way to learn how to massage and connect with your baby and it has amazing benefits for everyone involved. From bonding with your baby to inducing better sleep patterns (for baby and you!) the advantages of this course are many. See below a baby massage class with Caroline as featured on Ireland AM. You can see Caroline’s interview below or click here.

The benefits for the baby include stimulation, relaxation, pain relief, and interaction/bonding. It is wonderful for colic, constipation, and wind, it aids in deeper and longer sleep, relieves stress and anxiety after birth and it encourages a deep bond between baby and parent.

For mums and dads it is a great way to learn more about your baby’s yes and no cues, it increases your confidence in handling and comforting your baby, reduces stress and most importantly it allows you to bond with and nurture your baby while having fun!

The classes are broken down into one hour sessions over a four week period. Each week we cover a different part of your baby’s body, whilst having discussions on relevant topics. It’s a great way to meet other parents and share ideas and stories. Dads are very welcome.

Mum & Baby Yoga

Mum and Baby Yoga classes are for women who have given birth recently and are looking for a fun and relaxed yoga class where they can bring their baby along too. The classes help Mums to gently ease back into shape, get a great stretch and have fun with their baby. It is also very social, where you can listen to other Mums advice and tips, learn some yoga for you and your baby and start to strengthen your pelvic floor and stomach muscles and relieve tension in your back.

You don’t need to bring anything with you, just wear comfortable clothes. Come after you and your baby’s six week check up and let your GP know you are attending the classes.

We also provide a wonderful Mum and Baby Barre class with our sister company The Yoga Barre, which is a little bit more active than yoga.

Postnatal Barre

  • Classes will be held in our studio every Wednesday at 10:00 am

  • €90 for 6 weeks

What is Mum & Baby Barre?

This is an active and energising class perfect from 10-12 weeks postnatal, where the new mum comes with her baby to get a full body workout!

What to expect?

We start off with a warm up while the babies are on the mats, car seats or in slings. We then use hand weights to tone the upper body, go to the barre for lots of work on strengthening the back, bum, waist and legs while stretching and opening up the shoulders, hips and lower back! At this stage Caroline keeps the pace up to keep the class going, while keeping an eye on the babies! We finish the class with focus on the core, tummy and back muscles. The class works, think the babies must love Caroline’s music!

We would always recommend you get the go ahead from your GP before any postnatal exercise, no previous experience necessary to join.
